From Your Requirement to Repeat Supply

From drawing, machine details, or an existing blade, KKA supports review, manufacturing, inspection, delivery, and repeat supply.

Start With What You Have

Kolkata Knives America’s industrial blade manufacturing process begins with understanding your requirements, whether you provide a technical drawing, machine details, or an existing blade sample. Our engineering team reviews specifications, develops the right production approach, and supports every stage from manufacturing to repeat supply.

How Our Industrial Blade Manufacturing Process Moves Into Production

From initial inquiry to North America repeat supply, each stage is designed to establish the correct technical requirement before production begins.

01 REQUIREMENT REVIEW

Customer Inquiry & Technical Check

Share whatever information is currently available. KKA first checks existing technical records for a matching drawing, specification, or product reference.

02 ENGINEERING & QUOTATION

Measure. Reverse Engineer. Define.

If a suitable drawing is unavailable, the physical sample can be measured and 3D scanned where required. Our engineering team then prepares the technical drawing and defines the requirement for quotation.

03 ORDER & TECHNICAL APPROVAL

Confirm Before Production

After quotation approval and order confirmation, the drawing and technical requirements are finalized with the customer before production begins.

04 MATERIAL PROCUREMENT

Material to Approved Specification

Raw material is sourced according to the approved technical requirement. Most KKA products use European steel selected to meet specified material and performance requirements.

05 MANUFACTURING

From Approved Drawing to Finished Component

Manufacturing begins according to the approved drawing and product-specific process route. The exact sequence depends on the blade or component requirement.

06 QUALITY, DELIVERY & REPEAT SUPPLY

Inspect. Ship. Repeat.

Finished parts are inspected against the approved drawing and specified requirements before packing and shipment. Recurring requirements can also be supported through North American warehousing.

Quality Control in Our Industrial Blade Manufacturing Process

From initial inquiry to North America repeat supply, each stage is designed to establish the correct technical requirement before production begins.

Raw Material Grade Inspection

Material documentation and third-party reports covering steel grade and chemical composition can be provided upon request where required.

Trial Sample & Customer Evaluation

Where required, a trial blade can be supplied for application evaluation before full production.

Dimensions & Hardness Certification

Final dimensional accuracy and hardness certification can be provided upon request.

North America Warehousing

Repeat-supply programs can include North America warehousing support to improve availability and reduce replenishment lead time.

Final Quality Inspection

Finished parts are inspected against the approved drawing and specified requirements before packing and shipment.
